Gabriel Meneses is a founding partner of Meneses & Santillan Law Offices. He represents a wide range of clients in the following industries: fashion apparel & accessories; consumer goods; pharmaceuticals and technology.

Mr. Meneses' practice focuses on patent, utility model, industrial design, trademark law, copyright law, licensing and network & business process outsourcing. His practice includes intellectual property enforcement in connection with patents, industrial designs, trademarks, unfair competition, anti-counterfeiting and copyright infringements, as well as international trademark litigation and opposition proceedings. His transactional practice includes matters involving search and clearance of trademarks, prosecution of trademark applications, licensing, due diligence and client counseling. Mr. Meneses handles all aspects of domain name management, including registration, litigation and dispute resolution. He is also active in the field of Internet policing, combating Internet fraud and cybercrime.

Mr. Meneses worked as a legal consultant for a leading fashion apparel & accessories company based in Irvine, California responsible for managing the company’s global intellectual property portfolio.

Mr. Meneses has also worked as an Associate Attorney for one of the leading law firms in the Philippines where he represented several global companies including their regional headquarters in the Asia-Pacific Region. He was part of the team that supported the intellectual property projects and transactions of several global companies which included enforcing and protecting their trademarks, industrial design, patents and copyrights through litigation and overseeing raids on suspected infringers. He was a member of the Working Group consulted by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines in drafting the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines. Mr. Meneses also acted as a Representative of the Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines to the Inter-Government Agency Committee on Intellectual Property Rights created by the President of the Philippines to promote the protection of intellectual property in the country.

Mr. Meneses received his Masters in Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property from Franklin Pierce Law Center. While obtaining his LLM, he was elected by intellectual property professionals from around the globe to be their Student Representative to the FPLC Student Chapter of the Licensing Executives Society.

He received his J.D. and B.S. Management from Ateneo de Manila University. While obtaining his J.D. he clerked for the Office of the Director General of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines.

He is a member of American Bar Association (ABA) - International Law Section; ABA Committee 202 International Trademark Laws and Treatises; ABA Section on Intellectual Property Law and Franchising; International Trademark Association (INTA); and Licensing Executives Society (USA and Canada), Inc., where he was the co-Chairman of the Publicity Committee for the 2003 Annual Meeting held in San Diego, CA. He is admitted to practice by the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.

Mr. Meneses is currently a Lecturer in Intellectual Property Law for the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education program of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines. He published an article in The Asia Law News of the International Law Section of the American Bar Association providing a review of Philippine laws in 2004. Upon the invitation of the National Lawyers Guild and Suffolk University, he presented a Paper in the "Fifth Annual Academic Convocation for Law Students, 'Law in a Changing Society'" held last 4 March 2000 in Suffolk University Law School (Boston, MA) entitled "Non-Compete Agreements in the Information Age: A Placebo for Former Employers?"
